FBI Spies On Muslims In The US

Press TV

The US Federal Bureau of Investigation pries into the lives of Muslims across America as part of nationwide intelligence gathering in the fight against terrorism, the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) says.

According to CAIR, Muslims in the United States are watched, especially at mosques, a Press TV correspondent in Washington reported on Tuesday.

With part of the intelligence gathering focused specifically on Muslims, the US government's goal is to have every state and local law enforcement agency feed information to the FBI, which is in charge of terrorism investigations.

CAIR is particularly concerned with trainers hired by some law enforcement agencies whose extreme views on Islam and terrorism is considered counter-productive by the FBI and other US intelligence agencies.

“Whenever you have law enforcement personnel being trained by anti-Muslim bigots, it is going to have an impact,” says Ibrahim Hooper of CAIR.

From The Historical Archives: Joe Biden Claims Knowledge Of Dozens Of Cover-Ups

Historiographic Anarchy

In 1978, current vice president Joe Biden accused the American Intelligence Community engaging in dozens of cover-ups involving crimes such as espionage and murder to protect national security. His allegations were reported on page 8 of the next's day New York Times and, with the exception of a reference in James Bamford's The Puzzle Palace, promptly forgotten despite Biden's multiple presidential and and vice-presidential campaigns.

In addition to the political hay that could have been against him, the continued silence over this allegations is puzzling in light of the counterintelligence view that one should never give up in pursuing spies and lack of statu[t]e of limitation on murder and espionage.

I Had Ray Davis’s Job, in Laos 30 Years Ago. Same Cover, Same Lies.

By ROBERT ANDERSON
The story of Raymond Allen Davis is one familiar to me and I wish our government would quit doing these things – they cost us credibility.
Davis is the American being held as a spy working under diplomatic cover out of our embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan. You can understand why foreign countries no longer trust us and people are rising up across the Middle East against the Great Satan. In the Vietnam War the country of Laos held a geo-strategic position, as does Pakistan does to Afghanistan today. As in Pakistan, in Laos our country conducted covert military operations against a sovereign people, using the CIA.

ISI orders full list of CIA spies in Pakistan

Jason Ditz [AntiWar]

The two spy agencies have long worked side by side in the region, and the CIA even funds a major portion of their counterpart’s budget, but Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) has signaled a further split today in the wake of the Raymond Davis detention.

Davis, nominally a “consulate technical adviser” who was arrested in Lahore on a double murder, was eventually revealed to be not just a CIA operative, but the de facto leader of CIA operations within the nation, according to confessions from top US officials.
